BJ Frye Karate Schools are not 501c3 Non-Profits.  The Lenoir City Isshinryu Academy operates on donations to support pro-bono teaching of Isshinryu Karate.  All donations go directly to the up-keep of the students.  Donations pay for equipment and uniforms and entrance fees for tournaments. The Martial Arts Club - Isshinryu at the University of Tennessee is limited to UT Students only.  The clubs have fees within the University so the students will benefit from any donation as well.  These students are welcome to train at the LCIA location too. All of the BJ Frye Karate Schools programs are one large family. Thank you for your support.
